What's The Difference?

Easy. "Squeezed fresh" is a marketing misnomer. The oranges are indeed fresh when they're squeezed - as all oranges should be. Saying your juice is “Squeezed fresh” has no bearing on how the juice is treated after squeezing. Preservatives, concentrates, sterilized pulp and other additives can be mixed in as an afterthought.

Most brands also pasteurize or flash pasteurize their juices to extend shelf life up to 60 days and compensate for lesser adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.

"Fresh-squeezed" juice like Perricone's, on the other hand, comes straight from the extractor. With no additives, no preservatives and no pasteurization.

Perricone orange juice is produced under such strict FDA health standards, it is not required to be pasteurized. Consequently, our juices are so fresh and nutritious, they are often sold on ice in produce sections instead of on refrigerated shelves.
